    The values, social ideas, expectations of all humanity is as real as a fairy tale. We follow the idea and experience it so deeply because of emotions and the need to understand the world around. Humans can be born into an endless possibility of social concepts. Why stop at one with so much suffering and greed ?

    We see the systemic issue and differences but avoid to bring it up because of discomfort. We don't want to believe that we are apart of a problem that affects us in 2023, in many areas of previlage.

     In order to have privilege, one must be better than some thing else. BIPOC communities have to code switch in order to survive the forced social construct. Anything against it or not approved by whiteness is a threat to the well been of humanity with in the concept of the world.

I traveled to Puerto Rico with the people I now call my extended family, the Sluter family has a special place in my heart and development as a person. I started working with them around 2015 as a care giver. As I moved on with jobs I always kept in contact, I have the ability to reach out and catch up with some of the most amazing, talented parents and kids. I can go on about how much I love their kids and have tried to be their as much as possible. The have taught me so much and give so much love and kindness to all who get to meet them.

 

These past couple of years I learned self love and how to do my make up. I learned to forgive and accept all of me and the presence I occupy in my own mind.

I create art with friends and spend time making some meaningful loving relationships. My humanity is tied to so many beautiful people and as I travel through life,  I hope to continue to lean and grow.
